Girl's Rising' under Project Garima - Towards empowerment through sports

‘Girl’s Rising’ is an inspirational initiative under the ‘Garima’ project of ‘Sankalp Ek Prayas’ organization, which aims to connect rural adolescent girls with self-confidence, leadership skills and a sense of gender equality through sports. Under this program, girls from 250 villages are given a platform where they can not only showcase their talent by participating in various sports and self-defense activities, but can also create a strong identity in the society.

Village level training: In every village, girls are given regular training with the help of local women coaches. Sports events: After the training, a grand tournament is organized in which rural girls participate in various sports.
