Too often in life, we wait around for someone else to instigate the changes we want to see. We doubt our own ability and become paralyzed to action, thinking either we are not solely capable of bringing the changes about, or that someone else will get around to it. But this inability to act alone is all in our head. Because history bears witness that the most extraordinary things were done by the most ordinary people.
SANKALP believes the desired changes in the lives of such children will come only when more and more privileged people start participating proactively in finding a solution. It works with the philosophy that the only way to ensure a better future for these children is by educating them. SANKALP believes that helping others is not simply a matter of dispersing money but of making a deep, long-term commitment and casting a hard eye on results. With this model, SANKALP finds innovative solutions to this social issue.
Each day SANKALP touches the lives of hundreds of children through its various educational centres; centres which only work with much watering from SANKALP’s supporters. Becoming part of SANKALP family, in whatever capacity, makes you a part of the journey and involves you to do something for the greater good.
