SANKALP’s aim is to catalyze socio-economic change primarily through the education of the underprivileged children. SANKALP has also come to signify the hope we volunteers feel about bringing a change in such areas, a hope that we will be able to one day create an equal and just society.

SANKALP raises awareness of issues and supports children’s education projects. Our interventions include support for infrastructure, providing learning aids and promoting socially meaningful curriculum development and child-centered joyful learning techniques.

SANKALP, in addition to providing education to the underprivileged children, also addresses other topics affecting human life such as health care, environment, socio-economic aspects, etc. SANKALP’s projects are diverse in their location, target population, and approach to education. SANKALP has no political or religious affiliations and do not discriminate children on any basis, be it gender, religion, background, caste or race.
